Dear Donna, I was so sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. Although I didn’t know him well, he was one of the kindest most gentle men I have ever known. I remember him coming into the Wellness Center and his presence would light up the room. He will be missed by all those he touched. May God keep you in the palm of His hand as you go through this difficult time. If you need me, I am but a phone call away. Love, Brenda

Nick will be missed by many people. We thought that he was winning this battle with prostate cancer. Agent Orange has claimed another veteran instead.

I’ll miss his ready wit and sense of humor. The world does not care whether we live or die, but we will note this passing of this good man. May he sleep peacefully until the Lord awakens him from his slumber.

    Donna,

My condolences to you and your family over the loss of Nick. We were in the same platoon in OCS and he was a pleasure to know. Nothing seemed to get him down, even his last email message was upbeat. He will be missed at our future reunions, but not as much as you will miss him.

    Best wishes and prayers,

    Bob & Evelyn Wellston

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Nick’s friends and family. I worked with Nick at Irwin Mortgage and it was always a pleasure being in his company. I don’t think I ever heard Nick have a bad word to say about anyone. He always had a smile on his face and made you feel like his friend. Nick will be missed greatly.

I will remember Nick with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He worked hard, but knew how to have fun at the same time. The pitch ins in Direct Lending were legendary – his motto – Go Big or Go Home! He made the world a much nicer place and will be missed. To his family – may God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I lost my buddy and am very sad for myself, his family and all who knew him. There was nothing Nick wouldn’t do for his friends and coworkers. You rarely get to work for a person of Nick’s character, so I am blessed. I loved him as a friend and as a boss and I will miss him deeply. Words can’t express my gratitude to Nick. Jim and I loved our times with Nick and Donna and all the laughs and stories we shared.
